Dear Campers, Parents and the entire Lakota Family,
It's almost that time of year again, and we want to invite everyone to the Camp Lakota reunion which is scheduled for Sunday January 8th, 2012 from 9:30 am - 12:30 pm at the Park Ridge Marriott in Park Ridge, NJ.
It will be a fantastic reunion. We will have amazing DJ Jay Cohen, a great breakfast and our annual awards ceremony.
The awards ceremony will include trophies for those who won summer honors, waterskiing trophies, swim-the-lake backpacks for our Masten Lake superstars and of course, our coveted 5 Year Jackets and 10 Year Fleeces.
Every family will also get their own copy of the 2011 Camp Lakota Video Yearbook DVD which we will premiere as well. It's jam packed with over an hour of sensational summer highlights.

The Camp Lakota family is very excited to announce that long time Lakota staff member and our Boys Head Counselor Lenny Durante is now joining our year round team.With a life time of camping experience as a Counselor, Group Leader, Program Director and Head Counselor Lenny brings enormous enthusiasm and dedication to our team. During the summer Lenny will be our Boys Head Counselor. Throughout the winter, along with many other duties, Lenny will be responsible for the recruitment of our amazing staff.
He believes "An outstanding staff is the key to providing our campers with the best summer experience possible!"
As our Boys Head Counselor, he takes great pride in focusing on the needs of each camper, as well as building strong relationships with each family and cultivating a great staff.
Everyone who knows Lenny understands his warmth and true passion for camp.

Thank you all for an amazing 2011 summer. We are so proud of all of our campers for their participation and extraordinary level of achievement. Whether it was on the fields and courts,
on magnificent Masten Lake, within our fantastic Arts programs or at our wonderful specialty activities, our campers had non-stop fun all throughout Camp Lakota.
And we also want to take this opportunity to thank our amazing staff. Our teachers and coaches and our college age counselors all helped to lead our dynamic Camp Lakota program.
We hope you have all settled back into school and all your fun fall extracurricular activities. We wish you only success.
We want to remind all our current Lakota families and all prospective new camp families that this is the perfect time to take advantage of our September Early Bird sign up.
