Watersports on Magnificent Masten Lake

The Jewel of Camp Lakota is Magnificent Masten Lake

Camp Lakota is proud of it's comprehensive watersports program. At Lakota every camper has the opportunity to learn a wide range of watersports skills on Masten Lake.

From our youngest campers to our oldest campers, they all receive expert training in waterskiing, wakeboarding and kneeboarding as well as training with all of our small crafts. Our experienced staff helps all of our novice waterskiers learn how to waterski. Camp Lakota features beginner ski's and training boards which makes it easy for our youngest campers and new water skiers to have immediate success and feel the rush of self accomplishment.

And for even more thrills campers can try our solo and tandem super tubes and our "Hot Dog" boat. Campers will zip around Masten Lake being pulled by either our powerboat or one of our wave runners. The fun is contagious.

Camp Lakota also features a wide assortment of small crafts, including "funyaks" canoes, rowboats, surfboard boats, bicycle boats, paddle boats and sail boats.

Our specialized instructors teach campers how to handle all of these crafts. We know our campers feel a great sense of accomplishment as they sail across Masten Lake in one of our sail boats which they have learned how to rig and sail.

Our sensational lake front also features our "Iceberg" which is a great inflatable activity for all our campers. Yes, it looks like a real iceberg, but it's filled with air, and our campers climb up one side, and slide down the other. All under the supervision of our Red Cross Certified lifeguards.

We are very proud of our watersports program on Masten Lake, please check out some of the great pictures on this page to see why.
