Camp Lakota is a co-ed sleepaway camp located in the Catskill Mountains of Wurtsboro, New York. Located on the best lake in the region, we offer a safe and supportive summer experience for campers ages 6–16.

Many of our campers begin their camp adventure not knowing anyone. Camp Lakota’s warm and nurturing environment is the perfect backdrop for building new friendships, and in no time they will be creating memories and enjoying fun-filled adventures over the course of 6 weeks.

That’s why our program is designed to work with a wide range of schedules across the country, making it easier for your child to join our full six-week session. When everyone arrives together and stays together, campers build deeper friendships, feel more connected, and create memories that truly last.
Every Activity, Every Adventure
At Camp Lakota, summer is filled with excitement, creativity, and nonstop fun. Campers enjoy hands-on projects, team sports, outdoor games, and unforgettable day trips to waterparks, arcades, and trampoline parks that quickly become highlights of the season. We create a screen-free space where kids build confidence, make real friendships, and embrace the outdoors. And when it’s time for the lake, even more adventure is waiting.

Offering a wide variety of exciting and diverse activities. Our campers engage in numerous adventures throughout the summer that they might not always have access to during the school year!
Masten Lake, with its sandy beaches and diverse waterfront sports has helped make Camp Lakota a family tradition for over 100 years.
